Love has never been Rafe Hernandez’s strong suit on Days of our Lives. That is, he falls in love quite a bit. But it always goes wrong. There was Sami Brady. There was Hope Williams Brady. There was Ava Vitali. There was Nicole Walker. Note the past tense. But, enough of that. Let’s talk future! Who is the right woman for Rafe in 2023?
Carrie! That’s what 10% of you are saying. How about a newly single Carrie Brady (Christie Clark). First, she’s the nicer version of Sami (Alison Sweeney). And second, it will make the not nice Sami very cranky. So it’s a win-win for everybody!
Why bother with the pale imitation when you can get the original, 18% of the audience counters. Rafe (Galen Gering) was always at his best with Sami. And, the irony is, she was always at her best with him. He may not have kept her on the straight and narrow. But, at least, he made her consider it.
Jada Hunter (Elia Cantu) is the obvious choice, 20% of voters point out. Not only are she and Rafe in close proximity for most of the day at the station, but they bonded over how awful Nicole (Arianne Zucker) – and Eric Brady (Greg Vaughan) are. Getting together would make those two cheaters mental. And we are definitely pro that!
But, ultimately, over half of the Days of our Lives fans, 52%, would really like to see Rafe with somebody new. Someone who hasn’t lied to him. Someone who hasn’t cheated on him. Someone who hasn’t tried to get him thrown in prison for life. You know, little things. That end up being a big deal. Rafe is a nice guy. Is a nice, normal woman really that much to ask for?
