On Days Of Our Lives (DOOL), the last thing Lani should have on her mind is men. She just lost her baby – and nearly her own life.
Yet, this is a soap, which means as soon as her hospital discharge papers are ready, it’s time to put a man into Lani’s (Sal Stowers) orbit. For future story purposes.

Eli, Eli
Stick with your baby daddy, Lani, 47% of you urge. Eli (Lamon Archey) was there for Lani when she needed him, plus they have the tragedy of their mutual loss to bind them together.
Maybe Lani and Eli will decide to have another child to replace the one they lost. In either case, they’re bound together forever now.
Second Chances
Lani loved JJ (Casey Moss). She didn’t want to break up with him. He broke up with her. And she didn’t want to cheat on him.
It was all a huge misunderstanding. JJ was the one who brought Lani to the hospital and, most importantly, JJ was who she dreamed about when she came close to death.

Forget ’em both, 19% of viewers urge. Too much baggage, too many shed tears. Lani needs someone new, someone who doesn’t remind her of the darkest time period in her life.
Being with either Eli or JJ would mean being with men who know about her lost baby. Lani needs to have some fun.
