Over the last two years, Days of Our Lives fans have had a few teases here and there as Matthew Ashford has appeared in new scenes as Jack Deveraux, and it ALWAYS leaves us wanting more.
During his last stint in a series of newly-created flashbacks, it was clear that Jennifer needs Jack.
They play off each other so naturally and have since the 1980s. He’s her yin to his yang and their banter is sorely missed.
There’s a reason Jennifer hasn’t been able to find another man–because Jack is it for her.
Ashford and Melissa Reeves have that undeniable chemistry that comes along once in a soap lifetime and we want him back for good. Yes, we saw Jack die, but we also saw Will die, so there’s always a way to take care of that.
