Oh, Bo! Peter Reckell VANISHED…And Finally Reappeared

Days of Our Lives (DOOL) fans, the soap world and social media hadn’t heard from longtime fan fave Peter Reckell for months. Some people started wondering what happened to the talented actor. We found some answers!

While he spent time last summer going back to his musical roots in The Fantastiks, the off-Broadway play where he got his theatre start, the actor has been quiet of late and finally explains why.

He’s busy being a dad, which was the reason he chose to leave Bo behind for good in 2015. (Despite Bo’s dramatic death scene, dead isn’t ever really dead on soaps, right? We can only hope–with Hope.)

Reckell took to social media to apologize for not keeping in touch with fans and offer an explanation. Read all about this devoted dad in the tweets below. The bottom line seems to be that Reckell wants to remain unplugged for the sake of his family.
