Brady’s hospital room wasn’t the only place where heavy drama was taking place this week on Days of Our Lives (DOOL). At the Kiriakis mansion, Maggie confronted Deimos, who was feeling fairly confident he was going to get away with his latest crime spree.
For her performance as a woman not afraid to tell off the man who put her in a wheelchair, Soap Hub bestows Performer of the Week honors on Suzanne Rogers (Maggie).
Deimos (the always powerful Vincent Irizarry) had put on a brave front against Abe at the police station and gloated to Chloe that he was out on bail when he ran into her in Horton Square, but the walls of the family mansion didn’t prevent Deimos from having the truth thrown in his face.
Standing Tall
Maggie, having been warned by Abe that Deimos was temporarily free, barely allowed him to walk into the room before she ran down the list of his misdeeds, not the least of which was his role in Brady’s near fatal shooting.
Her stance was all the more admirable because she challenged Deimos alone!
Victor’s wife delivered her point home by telling Deimos that while Victor, Justin, Sonny, and Philip were all different they were all men and each could rightfully call themselves a Kiriakis. “You are neither,” Maggie boldly informed her brother-in-law.
Cheers!
Deimos taunted the recovering alcoholic by offering her a drink, but Maggie didn’t let that rattle her. She informed Deimos that she was going to inform Victor that Deimos needed to be removed from both Titan and the family and that Victor was capable of making that happen!
On that note, Maggie, no longer bound to the wheelchair Deimos put her in, turned and walked out of the room, leaving her former tormentor with the feeling that this time he just might not get away with his crimes!
