Patrika Darbo Back as Days of Our Lives’ Nancy

With the return of Nadia Bjorlin’s Chloe to Days of Our Lives, why not also expect the return of her mother, Patrika Darbo’s Nancy? It seems that’s just what’s going to happen, as Darbo made mention of her return on the red carpet Friday night just before the Daytime Emmy Creative Arts Awards.

“I have a feeling that I will be coming back to raise a little hell,” Darbo said, according to We Love Soaps. “These other women messing with my grandchild is not a good thing.”

Darbo was last seen in 2013 and there’s not word whether her Kevin Spartas, who played Nancy’s husband, Craig, will return. However, he did give a statement.

“I know she’s going back [but] I don’t know about myself as of yet,” Spirtas later said. “If they call, I will go back. I love “Days of Our Lives.”

Darbo and Spirtas created the roles Nancy and Craig Wesley, Chloe’s parents, back in 1997. Spirtas was last seen in 2009. The characters also have another daughter, Joy, who could easily make an addition to the current teen scene–and possibly stir up trouble for Chloe.
