Parental Leave: Should Claire’s Parents Return To Days Of Our Lives?

Claire has gone over the edge on Days Of Our Lives. She has now decided that the solution to all of her problems is homicide…preferably via arson.

Claire (Olivia Rose Keegan) set Ciara (Victoria Konafal) on fire while she was recovering from a broken leg. And the site of Tripp (Lucas Adams) with Haley (Thia Megia) prompted Claire to reach for the lighter again.

The child needs help. Grandma Marlena (Deidre Hall) tried, but Claire blew her off. Does she need Belle (Martha Madison) and Shawn (Brandon Beemer) to come back to Salem and set — or scare — her straight? What over 11,000 have to say about it:

Baby Needs Help
Shawn and Belle absolutely need to return for Claire, 67% of you are ready to book their airline tickets. The lack of adult supervision is kind of obvious. You can’t just dump your responsibilities on extended family and assume everything will turn out OK.

Marlena and John (Drake Hogysten) have other stuff going on in their lives. And Hope (Kristian Alfonso) is also busy…not to mention adverse to the word, Grandma. They dropped a ball they weren’t even supposed to be holding, and it’s time for Belle and Shawn to come pick up the slack. Before the whole town is reduced to ashes!

Bad Influence
Nope, 23% of the audience counters, the last thing Claire needs is a visit from the people who made her the way she is. Obviously, Claire didn’t get enough love and attention from Mommy and Daddy in Hong Kong, which is what made her so needy, in the first place.

If they return to Salem, they’re bound to trigger even more of Claire’s issues. She’s going to want to show off or act out. And, once again, that all leads to a cleansing fire.
