Days of Our Lives November 25: Here’s Why Johnny Needs to Come Clean Now

The last couple of months have been brutal for Johnny. First, he accused his wife of cheating on him and used horrible words to describe her in the process. Then, he was the one who cheated when he hooked up with Joy during his accusatory phase. But in the Monday, November 25 episode of Days of Our Lives, it was clear that the guy needs to come clean now.

Confession is Good for the Soul

Johnny (Carson Boatman) isn’t taking advantage of his DiMera side. If he were, he’d listen to EJ (Dan Feuerriegel) and keep a lid on what he did with Joy (AlexAnn Hopkins). And he would go on and live his life and write his cheating off as a “speed bump.”

But there’s no way that will happen. The secret-keeping and the guilt over what he did kills him. And it’s written all over his face. Plus, people are starting to know. Johnny already confided in his dad. Now, Joy has blabbed the secret to Alex (Robert Scott Wilson).

Sure, Alex decided not to tell Chanel (Raven Bowens) because of how she talked about her love for Johnny. And he doesn’t want to take that away from her. But he could change his mind. A friend would figure out how to break it to her, right? Or at least give her a heads-up to stop inviting Joy over for dinner!

There are a number of ways this secret could come out, and Johnny needs to get ahead of it. He’s even talking about Joy in his sleep. It’s already surprising that Chanel could get over Johnny calling her a cheating s—t so quickly. But if the two stand a chance at sticking together, they must deal with this issue now, even with the holidays coming. Or should we say issues because he didn’t just cheat; he’s now lying about or omitting it, which is the same thing.

What we can’t get out of our minds is what we saw in the 60th-anniversary sneak peek. Johnny and Chanel are on a bench in the middle of Horton Town Square when they decide to have a baby. So, selfishly, we want this Johnny and Joy business to be dealt with forever and ever so that Chanel and Johnny can finally become a family.
