No Biggie: Should Abigail Forgive Chad On Days of our Lives?

Gwen’s plan of Days of our Lives involved seducing Chad and breaking up his marriage to Abigail – which would, in some way, get revenge for the mother Gwen claims Jack seduced and abandoned, not to mention his other alleged daughter – Gwen.

That last part isn’t going so well, as Jack (Matthew Ashford) claims to not even remember Gwen’s mom, much less that she came to Salem with wee Gwen in tow, in order to make Jack take responsibility.

But the sleeping with Chad (Billy Flynn) and driving a wedge between him and Abigail (Marci Miller) scheme? That is going really, really well. Should Abigail throw a monkey wrench in Gwen’s plans by forgiving Chad? What almost 7,000 voters had to say:

Oh, please, 93% of the audience would like Abby to remember all the stuff Chad has forgiven her for. The mess with Ben (Robert Scott Wilson)? The murder of Andre (Thaao Penghlis)? Charlotte’s paternity? Gabi’s (Camila Banus) revenge? Abigail has made more than a mistake or two, and now it’s time for her to forgive Chad for his.

Sure, he was a total idiot for believing Gwen’s (Emily O’Brien) lies about Abby cheating with Jake (Brandon Barash). But he was an idiot when Abigail first met him. Don’t go trying to change your man, Abigail! Love him for who he is!

A much smaller 7% of the fans believe what Chad did was unforgivable. No Salem man has ever cheated and been allowed to go back to his woman as if nothing had happened. Why, if they allowed this sort of behavior, who knows what moral might be loosened?
