Days Of Our Lives have been getting a double dose of bad girls lately, as Kristen pretends to be the presumed dead Nicole, and actresses Stacey Haiduk and Arianne Zucker share the role.
When “Nicole” first came back to Salem viewers assumed she hadn’t really died in the fiery explosion that Xander (Paul Telfer) also survived. Par for the course on DAYS.
But then she was revealed to be Kristen, and Nicole was back to her earlier presumed dead status. But what if that’s not the case? What if Kristen has Nicole stashed somewhere…in case of an emergency hostage situation. Could it be? Almost 5000 fans voted on it!
Hide and Seek
That’s got to be it, 92% of you figure. Kristen isn’t one to leave loose ends hanging, and nothing could be worse for her plan than the real Nicole showing up to reveal that this has all been a plot to snag Brady (Eric Martsolf).
To prevent that from happening, Kristen would either need to have Nicole’s dead body in front of her…and locked up in a safe for good measure.
Or she’d have to have the real Nicole under lock and key. When Xander dispatched an equally presumed dead Holly off to, as he told Ted (Gilles Marini), her “new home,” was he sending her to Nicole – on Kristen’s orders? That way, Kristen could even claim she was doing a good deed…while borrowing Nicole’s face (and, somehow, body).
Leave Well Enough Alone
We know the DiMearas can pull off anything, but 8% of the audience doesn’t believe Kristen could have found Nicole when Eric (Greg Vaughan). He had true love and all that on his side.
Kristen just had spite. She wouldn’t be trying to pull this off if she didn’t believe Nicole was out of the picture for good. Days of our Lives (DOOL) airs weekdays on NBC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
