Nicole and Deimos claim to be so much in love, but for two people devoted to one another, the lies keep on piling up on Days of Our Lives.

What Is He Up To?
Today, Deimos (Vincent Irizarry) told yet another whopper when he claimed Xander (Paul Telfer) met his maker, but all he did was make sure his nephew escaped the country and ended up in Greece. So, what’s Deimos’s endgame there? He always seems to have something up his sleeve, and any time we think we can feel some sympathy for him, it never works out.

Nicole was angry enough when she learned Deimos had Dario following Chloe (Nadia Bjorlin), but later this week Deimos will learn that Nicole knew Chloe’s “Who’s The Daddy?” secret all along.

With this many secrets, how on Earth do you start any sort of relationship?

It Began With A Trick
Nicole and Deimos’s relationship began on a lie as Victor (John Aniston) hired Nicole (Arianne Zucker) to romance his brother and get the goods on him. Of course, they fell for one another, but they definitely don’t trust one another or they’d fess up some truths every once in a while.

Making Nicole’s Life Dangerous
We also have to ask ourselves once again how much Deimos can really love Nicole if he let a man who tried to kill her just waltz off to Greece with a job? Xander is Nicole’s enemy #1, but that didn’t seem to mean a thing to Deimos in this whole scenario. Could Soap Hub’s theory on the two being more than uncle and nephew be true? So far, that’s the only thing we can come up with to explain this need to help the zany Xander just sail away.

Nicole and Deimos both better get it together if they want this to work. Or, maybe scratch that. Maybe Nicole knows there’s no way she can ever trust Deimos, and that’s why she keeps holding back. With Eric out of jail in a few months, you never know what might happen.
