BREAKING NEWS: Chandler Massey CONFIRMS Days of Our Lives (DOOL) Return

Hot on the heels of the news that Sami would be returning to Days of Our Lives (DOOL), comes the news that Chandler Massey, who played her son Will from 2010 to 2014, will also be making his triumphant return.

Soap Opera Digest first reported that the three-time Emmy winning actor will be returning this September in a story that remains under wraps but will be tied to Alison Sweeney and her return to the show.

Later on Monday, Massey confirmed the news with a simple tweet and posted to Instagram, saying simply, “I’m back.”

The actor left the popular role in September of 2014 and was replaced by Guy Wilson, until the character was killed off in 2015 in what many have called the worst mistake ever made by the show.

While it’s unknown how the character will be resurrected, there is plenty for him to get involved with now that his husband Sonny (Freddie Smith) has moved on with Paul (Christopher Sean).

Of course, if Sonny needs advice about how not to handle your spouse coming back from the dead, we’re pretty sure Chad (Billy Flynn) could tell him a thing or two.
