News Update: Soap Vet Linsey Godfrey Has A Masking Message

Days of our Lives’ Sarah Horton may not always make the best decisions (kidnapping a kid, anyone?) but her portrayer, Linsey Godfrey, is behaving smart. The former The Bold and the Beautiful star has something she wants you to know!

Linsey Godfrey Has An Important Message

The actress shared an important message on Instagram she hopes all her fans are following — wearing a mask in public!

“If I can get a 6-yr-old to wear a mask in the middle of a global pandemic while we move, then YOU can wear a GOT damn mask.. grown-ass adults,” Godfrey says, alongside a photo of her with her young daughter — wearing masks because public health officials worldwide are telling us that’s how we stop the spread of a deadly virus.

With positive COVID-19 tests continuing to rise across the country, and many states now making it mandatory for people to wear masks out in public, the soap star joins a long list of people advocating for their use.

And as she noted, if a young 6-year-old isn’t bothered by one, and can get used to wearing one, all those adults complaining about them need to wise up and act like the adults they are.

Godfrey joins her co-star Stephen Nichols, who posted a similar message this week, imploring people to take mask-wearing seriously. Considering this is what all public health experts and members of Congress from both political parties are saying, it’s a no-brainer.

Thankfully, her fans are listening, posting that they agree with her and promising to wear masks when they go out. Let’s hope everyone follows this smart move by Godfrey and her daughter.

It’s been a rough year for Sarah, as she’s technically now lost two babies in the whole kidnapping/baby swap mess and she never really had time to mourn the loss of Baby Mickey. But hopefully, good things are on the way. We wish Godfrey and her family a safe move as well!
