Xander and Brady Bond While Ava and Kristen Break on November 21 Days of Our Lives

As we suspected, Ava would inadvertently trigger Kristen’s possessive and jealous streaks. Also, in the Thursday, November 21 episode of Days of Our Lives, Xander gave a proper mea culpa to Brady. It had been a long time coming, and we were so glad it finally happened.

Bonding

Xander (Paul Telfer) doesn’t apologize much unless it’s to Sarah (Linsey Godfrey) or Maggie (Suzanne Rogers). However, things changed when Brady (Eric Martsolf) arrived at the hospital to check on Sarah’s progress after taking the miracle serum. Xander recognized Brady’s ability to get Kristen (Stacy Haiduk) to hand over the serum sans strings.

And he knew that Brady didn’t have to do anything to help them out. After all, he almost gave Brady a beatdown with a bat. He had the guy drugged and almost killed him. And then it turned out that Brady wasn’t even the one to mow down Sarah while drunk. It was Xander’s mom, Fiona (Serena Scott Thomas).

Xander’s apology was self-aware, sincere, and satisfying. On top of it, he gave Brady his job back at Basic Black. Yes, Xander did a good job. The vibe between the men felt different, too. We won’t say their dynamic has reached Brady and Eric’s (Greg Vaughan) level of greatness. However, this could be a turn in their relationship. They could become genuine allies. And we’re not mad at that.

Breaking

On the flip side, things between Ava (Tamara Braun) and Kristen took a predictable downturn. As soon as Ava and Brady started getting closer, it was clear that the weak bond of friendship the two women had would break.

Ava is known to be fearless, and she proved that when she told her former boss about Brady’s true feelings. She all but ensured she had a new enemy in her life. And Kristen is never subtle with her disapproval, iciness, or insecurities, right? She couldn’t hold back after seeing Brady and Ava in a friendly hug.

That one hug instantly unleashed her more jealous tendencies. She feels entitled to Brady because of the daughter they share. Ava let her know that this may not be the case. Brady said something different to her. According to him, if Kristen didn’t give Sarah the serum, no strings attached, there would be zero chance of the two of them getting back together.

After Ava clued him in on Kristen possibly expecting a future with him, he said he didn’t make any promises. Shots were fired, and the Ava versus Kristen era began. This could be a fair fight, considering Ava is a former mafia princess and Kristen, obviously, is a DiMera.
