Will THIS Be Konstantin’s Ultimate Downfall On DAYS?

On the Thursday, April 25, Days of Our Lives episode, Maggie told Sarah, Xander, and Alex about her shocking proposal to Konstantin, and they were suitably worried. However, Maggie did one thing that could prove to be what saves her and causes Konstantin’s downfall.

It’s All About That Konstantin

Xander (Paul Telfer) and Sarah (Linsey Godfrey) stop by Maggie’s (Suzanne Rogers) house for a visit, where she broke the news to them that she proposed to Konstantin (John Kapelos) to keep him in the country because all other avenues of renewing his visa have failed. The couple are shocked, understandably so, and Sarah thinks it’s too soon since Victor’s death. But Maggie reassures her she knows what she’s doing. Xander was horrified and declared Konstantin “insane and dangerous,” promising that he and Sarah would try to stop her. He told Maggie that she’s making a mistake, which she is (sometimes we just want to yell at her through the TV screen).

Alex (Robert Scott Wilson) stopped by with some Titan papers for Maggie and was also horrified to learn about her impending nuptials. She tells him he doesn’t have a say in her private life and sends him on his way. Before leaving, Xander stops Alex, and they both agree the marriage is a bad thing. Xander swears one way or the other he’s going to stop the wedding and considers Konstantin a criminal and a conman.

Later, Xander vented about Konstantin, but Sarah reminded him that people can change (with a wink and a nod to him) and that Konstantin is good company for Maggie, whom she wanted to be happy. Xander wished that a “gold-digging reprobate” wasn’t the guy to make Maggie happy. (Find out how Xander has changed.)

Friends To The End

Meanwhile, John (Drake Hogestyn) and Steve (Stephen Nichols) got together, and John thought he should let the whole Konstantin thing go since he already forgave him for the death of Katerina (seen only in photos and portrayed by Ellie Patrikios). But because Konstantin’s ex-wife disappeared shortly after their divorce, Steve suspected that Konstantin may have had a hand in that. Of course, a happy Konstantin came strolling through the town square with a bouquet of flowers, and stopped, irritating the two men. He told them that while he forgave John, he now held Steve responsible.

Steve willingly worked for Victor, he argued, and let John suffer for decades over it. After Konstantin left, Steve told John that he thought the man was trying to cause a rift in their friendship. But these two have been friends for ages, and it would take more than Konstantin planting the seeds of doubt to cause a fallout between them. Let’s not forget, though, that Konstantin holds the card that causes John to fall into a hypnotic trance. He could use that to make John do his bidding, and if that happens, it could definitely harm his relationship with Steve. (Learn more about how Konstantin is a threat to John and Steve.)

We Want Prenup

Finally, we were thankful when Maggie gave Konstantin a prenup to sign. Slightly hesitant at first, he signed it right away but carefully observed when she put it in her wall safe. It didn’t look like he saw the combination, but he knows where it is now.

Konstantin has ruffled quite a few feathers but has snowed Maggie, making her think he’s such a sweet guy. But, with Xander going at him from one direction and John and Steve coming from the other, Konstantin won’t know what hit him. However, he’s super crafty and is very manipulative. He’s still got Theresa (Emily O’Brien) under his thumb, and is forcing her to continue to work Alex, even proposing a double wedding! She admitted that she purposely acted in such a way that he needed to take two cold showers. But, she still felt bad that Maggie was being hoodwinked, and she might be the one who ultimately causes Konstantin’s plan to fall apart.

We know that Alex is not Victor’s true heir and it’s really Xander. If Theresa comes clean, it’s gonna hurt (a lot), but if she saves Maggie from losing her fortune to the con artist, she’ll most likely be redeemed.

The only thing in Konstantin’s way is the prenup that he signed. We predict that since he got Theresa to pretend to kidnap baby Victoria, he might further force Theresa to do his dirty work and steal the papers from the safe. But if that happens, we’re worried for Maggie’s life.

If he got rid of his ex-wife, who knows what he’ll do to Maggie!
