Leo needed some “supernatural” help to set a trap for Kerry, aka Fake Lady Whistleblower. Did the Rochester native fall for it in the Friday, January 17 episode of Days of Our Lives? Hook, line, and sinister sinker.
Demonic Inspiration
When Leo (Greg Rikaart) learned Kerry (Derek Yates) hailed from Rochester, New York, he knew Kerry was the man behind Fake Lady W. He had to think quickly, so he engineered a “double date” situation to Kerry’s annoyance.
During lunch, Leo took the opportunity to pitch his latest story. He asked for discretion, of course, because he didn’t want his genius story to leave the table.
The head writer’s alleged brainstorming involved a character getting possessed by the devil. He explained that it was a real ripped-from-the-headlines kind of story. Of course, Javi (Al Calderon) and Kerry had no idea what he was referring to. Leo revealed that it happened to Dr. Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall), who, obviously, couldn’t believe Leo went there.

Leo’s Trap is a Success
Kerry and his massive ego pounced and almost immediately posted the story on The Spectator. Of course, he attempted to deflect attention by writing something about a hacked InBox to make people think that “she” didn’t get the information straight from the source.
Needless to say, as soon as Kerry hit publish, Leo was ready. He then hightailed it over to Javi’s place and unceremoniously barged in on Javi and Kerry post-coital. “I have come to expose Lady Whistleblower, once and for all!”

Now, all that remains to be seen is how much Kerry will deny these allegations. And how quickly Javi will believe his boyfriend is an insecure, backstabbing, egotistical jerk. Javi wasn’t feeling Kerry much anyway. He was thinking of Leo right before he and Kerry hopped into bed.
Will Leo and Javi get the chance to resolve their issues and reunite next week? Let us know your thoughts in the comments.
