Both Days of our Lives and General Hospital have a funny, hate-to-love, gay guy as part of their cast of characters, and they would make the perfect couple.
Although Brad (Parry Shen) has had a hand in wreaking havoc in Port Charles on GH for over a decade – everything from being a sketchy lab tech to working for his mobstress aunt to claiming Wiley (Viron Weaver) as his and Lucas’ (Van Hansis) son – he’s seemingly taken a turn for the better recently. Sure, he knows about Portia’s (Brook Kerr) little lab tampering on Heather’s (Alley Mills) results, but he refused to use it to get the latest thing he wants: to join Lucas at an exclusive medical conference.
Leo (Greg Rikaart, who recently dished on his character’s love life) has been in Salem off and on for six years, and in that six years, has gone through several marriages, schemes, careers, and enemies. From his vengeful vows against Will (Chandler Massey) and Sonny to being a part Nicole’s (ex-Arianne Zucker) baby swap to becoming the head writer of a soap opera within a soap opera, Leo has endured a similar journey to Brad.
Odds are, if Leo took a vacation to Port Charles or Brad attended a medical conference in Salem, these two would instantly hit it off if they crossed paths. Both currently single and ready to mingle, these characters have both gone from skeevy to redeemed in their respective towns, but that’s not all they have in common.
For starters, they share the same last name: Leo, originally named Matthew Cooper, and Brad Cooper. The joke of the GHer’s name being Bradley Cooper is one that would have Leo in love due to his obsession with pop culture references.

Each with shameful pasts, Brad and Leo would most likely admit their mistakes, and maybe even compete for whose is worse. Brad could see Leo’s false marriage to Sonny and raise him multiple counts of tampering with lab tests.
But the worst of their crimes relates to babies and covering up their true parentage. While Leo helped deliver Jude and then handed him off to Sloan (ex-Jessica Serfaty), Brad switched his and Lucas’ deceased son with Wiley for the first year and a half of his life.
