Just as expected, Hattie is not the hacker or the poisoner, for that matter. As for Kristen, we have no doubt she will do her best to break up Ava and Brady, but after the Monday, December 23 episode of Days of Our Lives, we’re not convinced she’s the one who arranged for those Nutcracker tickets to disappear or got the Wi-Fi to Ava’s room turned off.
Not the Culprit #1: Hattie Adams
Unless she’s a good actress, it really seems like Hattie (Deidre Hall) isn’t the hacker or the poisoner. We all know that Hattie isn’t that good. After all, she was a complete newbie when she was plucked out of obscurity to take on the role of Charlemagne De la Croix on Body & Soul.
She genuinely seemed surprised when Leo (Greg Rikaart) and his “stupid face” accused Hattie of being the Faux Lady Whistleblower. In fact, she thought Rafe (Galen Gering) dragged her to Leo’s place to hire her back on B&S.
Later, at the precinct, before she lawyered up, Hattie again seemed shocked at the accusations. Yes, she has a criminal past. That doesn’t mean she’d resort to poison. Still, we want to find out where Hattie has been since Abe (James Reynolds) and Kate (Lauren Koslow) ousted her from the soap reboot.
If Hattie didn’t do it, who did? Could she have hired someone? Is Gwen (Emily O’Brien) out for revenge against Leo, or is it someone else?

Not the Culprit #2: Kristen DiMera
While sabotaging Brady (Eric Martsolf) and Ava’s (Tamara Braun) date is something we think Kristen (Stacy Haiduk) would do, we’re now unclear whether she messed with their Nutcracker rendezvous. It does seem like disappearing tickets and shutting down wifi are small potatoes for her.
Even though Kristen clearly texted someone, we’re not sure she sent the warning texts via a burner phone. The actual tests were very simple: “Stay away from Brady.” “So, how was your date,” and “Too bad about the Nutcracker.”
It’s almost as if someone young and bratty, namely Rachel (Finley Rose Slater), wrote them. Kristen’s mini-me wants her parents back together; she seems like someone who would be proactive in making it happen. She must have learned a lot from her mom. Maybe Rachel and Kristen are working the breakup Brady and Ava angle together.

What do you think of the Hattie and Kristen accusations? Are they guilty or innocent? Does Jada (Elia Cantu) have a right to be mad at Rafe for bringing Hattie in before the Salem PD could get to her? What do you think of JJ (Casey Moss) and Gabi Cherie Jimenez)? Is the chemistry there? And should he return to his cop job? And who is at EJ’s (Dan Feuerriegel) door? It’s supposed to be an old acquaintance…
