Salem has been struck with a double le whammy of crazy characters on Days of our Lives with Killer Connie and Fickle Fiona. But one may have shown why she’s someone to be afraid of.
Sure, Connie’s (Julie Dove) crime count may be through the roof, with two murders, a stabbing, a kidnapping, and another attempted murder under her belt. Fiona’s (Serena Scott Thomas) is merely a hit-and-run and attempted suffocation, but at least Connie is consistent with her actions.
Fiona started out wanting to help her run-down daughter-in-law under Xander (Paul Telfer) arrived at the scene. Framing Brady (Eric Martsolf) for the accident was unexpected, as Fiona’s grown so found of him, but the most unexpected part of it all was the way she contemplated suffocating Sarah (Linsey Godfrey) with a pillow at the slightest hint she was remembering the accident. Her back and forth debate with a pillow in-hand was arguably scarier to watch than Connie outright stabbing Rafe (Galen Gering) or poisoning Everett (ex-Blake Berris).
Both Salem villainesses have one thing in common: their inability to stop talking out loud about their crimes. Connie revealed her crazy side when she began talking to Li’s (Remington Hoffman) cutout and hallucinating he was spending time with her, but Fiona May win this round.

Fiona has been seen having several conversations out loud with herself where she rehashes what she did. Sure, she’s spoken to her granddaughter and Victor’s portrait at times (because who doesn’t talk to their deceased patriarch’s photos?), but she’s mostly seen simply reminding herself over and over that she was the one who hit Sarah and that Brady is innocent.
Which do you think is worse: talking to a cardboard cutout or talking to yourself about your crimes? Let us know in the comments.
