Salem’s teen population has a new member. Louis Tomeo has joined the Days of our Lives cast as Tate’s, portrayed by Leo Howard, friend Aaron, and is making his debut in the daytime drama world.

A graduate of Florida’s Maile School, which focuses on image, modeling, and acting, Tomeo later became a teen acting instructor at the facility. His resume includes gigs in The Summer I Turned Pretty, 9-1-1, Egghead & Twinkie, and more.

2. Tomeo is the middle child in a family of five. He has an older sister and a younger brother. His father is a Sheriff’s Deputy, and his mother is a lawyer.

3. He expressed an interest in performing as a child. At age 8, he began attending an acting camp given by Adrian R’Mante of Suite Life of Zack and Cody. He went on to book his first commercial at age 9. It led to more commercial work, print ads, short films, and web projects.
