The hospital fundraiser finally arrived in the Wednesday, April 23 episode of Days of Our Lives. Gabi tried to make JJ jealous by bidding on and winning a date with Alex Kiriakis. Cat and Chad flirted and hung out with a returned Thomas and Charlotte (it’s been so long since we’ve seen them!). And right there in the middle of Horton Town Square, Xander and Philip got into it again.
Conflict Escalation
It went as expected when Xander (Paul Telfer) and Philip (John-Paul Lavoisier) ended up at the hospital fundraiser at the same time. Xander’s fury with his half-brother continued. But this time, he unleashed a couple of his go-to physical threats. While he threatened to have Philip arrested when JJ (Casey Moss) joined the group, he knew he couldn’t for the sake of the DiMera coup.
However, he did tell JJ he was seriously thinking about killing Philip. He then threatened to beat Philip to a pulp, and he even mentioned trying to find a baseball bat. Yup, he’s not anywhere near forgiving his half-brother.

Overhear, Much?
After Sarah (Linsey Godfrey) devised a distraction to get Xander momentarily out of the way, she and Philip were able to talk. She weirdly apologized for what had gone down with Xander. But, more importantly, she thanked him for not selling her out. It was clear that if Xander knew about Sarah keeping the lie from him, he would go nuclear.
A contrite Philip said he didn’t want to see Xander take out his wrath on anyone else. After all, he was the one who created the mess. He’s actually taking accountability, which is decent of him. In fact, he assured Sarah he wouldn’t say anything about her knowing about the forged letter for months. After he walked away, Xander appeared from a distance. He witnessed the two talking and not in an angry way.

What did he overhear? Will he be upset that it seemed that the two were talking peacefully? Does he think Sarah should be as furious with Philip as he is? Or did he hear the exact words that were said, and now he knows Sarah has also been lying to him? And is Sarah right, if he finds out, that will be the end of their marriage?
