Becoming a part of the crimefighting team at the Salem Police Department has been a challenge for Wendy on Days of our Lives, but her portrayer, Victoria Grace, has joined a film in which the mission is far sweeter. Now she hopes you’ll see her in it.
“GUYS!!🥹💘 You can hear me as Mercy Graves in the movie Scooby-Doo and Krypto Too,” revealed the excited actress on her official X (formerly Twitter) account. And who can blame her? Scooby-Doo is iconic. It was created in 1969 by writers Joe Ruby and Ken Spears in the animated series Scooby-Doo, Where Are You! for Hanna-Barbera, later absorbed into Warner Bros. Animation.
“As someone who grew up watching #ScoobyDoo, getting to hear my voice having conversations with THE Mystery Gang means so much to me,” she continued. “I absolutely adore this movie, so check it out!!✨”
Doing voice work had to have been a challenge, but perhaps not as big as the one she recently faced back in Salem. When her DAYS character was mourning the brutal murder of her beloved brother Li (Remington Hoffman), Grace shared on Instagram what it was like — showing viewers something they didn’t see.
“An actor’s life: crying at a dummy like he’s your dead brother💀,” she wrote, along with images you can see below of what was really going on. The actress is certainly staying busy, which is just the way her fans like it.
