On the October 15 episode of Days of our Lives, Aaron confessed to Tate that he slept with Sophia and might be the father of the baby Tate spent nine months thinking was his. With this latest addition, can we now consider the Greenes a new, major Salem family?
Key Takeaways
- Cat is part of a potential new couple with Chad.
- Aaron is the father of a baby Chanel and Johnny want to adopt.
- Felicity is a star baker.
- Mark is coming home from prison.
Love Makes the World Go Round
Family is the cornerstone of soap opera drama. But romance is what puts you on the front burner. Cat Greene (AnnaLynne McCord, who earned a Daytime Emmys emerging talent nomination) looked to be on her way to a grand love story with Chad (Billy Flynn). He didn’t even care that his in-laws were furious that Chad would dare date the woman who pretended to be their dead daughter.

But then Thomas (Cary Christopher) — with support from Rachel (Alice Halsey), the tiny terror of heartbreak — put his foot down and announced he wouldn’t tolerate Cat. So Chad caved and broke up with the woman he’d just slept with. Cat cried. Chad furrowed his brow. If that’s not the definition of a star-crossed soap romance, we don’t know what is!
Welcome to Salem, Cat!
Connect Four
Aaron Greene (Louis Tomeo) was nothing more than Tate’s (Leo Howard) nerdy, lacrosse and Dungeons and Dragons playing friend. He was gone all summer, and nobody cared. But now that he seems to be the father of Sophia’s (Rachel Boyd) baby, Aaron has the potential to be connected to one of Salem’s most prominent families — if Chanel (Raven Bowens) and Johnny (Carson Boatman) adopt baby Tesoro like Paulina (Jackée Harry) is currently pulling strings to make happen, then Aaron will become DiMera adjacent.
And that is definitely a good place to be. Welcome to Salem, Aaron!
And the Rest
The Greene’s older brother, Mark (Jonah Robinson) is about to return after serving time for plotting to kill Chad. Jennifer (Melissa Reeves) and Jack (Matthew Ashford) are upset about that. This is good drama.
Now all Mark needs to do is get involved with someone who would further piss Jack and Jennifer off. Like, say… Gwen (Emily O’Brien)? How fun would that be!
Meanwhile, Felicity (Kennedy Garcia) is hard at work in Chanel’s bakery. She’d make a nice addition to the Salem teen scene, wouldn’t she? Sure, she’s still in high school and they’re in college, but she wouldn’t be the first Salem SORAS, would she?
Welcome to Salem, Mark and Felicity Greene!
