And another major sign that DAYS will revisit the Shawn and Jada pairing is a video that the show’s official Instagram account recently dropped just in time for Valentine’s Day. It features Elia Cantu and Brandon Beemer as their characters, Jada Hunter and Shawn Brady. And the police commissioner and detective take part in one of those trendy videos, where couples are approached and asked about their relationship.
Instead of outside on a street, where these things usually happen, it looks like the duo walks off the DAYS set. The first thing that happens is that both characters confirm that they are, in fact, a couple.

Jada: Oh, thank you. Yes, we are.
Shawn: Yeah, yeah, we are.
When the interviewer asks the couple about how they met, their explanation gets a little complicated.

Shada Is Happening…Eventually
While this social media video is great, Shawn and Jada are currently nowhere near reuniting on the actual show. For one, Shawn’s been missing in action for weeks. Months, even. Beemer’s most recent episode was towards the end of November 2025. He hasn’t made an appearance in the new year yet.
However, we know he will pop up at some point because Shawn’s featured in DAYS’s Thanksgiving preview trailer. He seems to be involved in attempting to save a kidnapped Stephanie. And something happens to Shawn because he seems down for the count. Right now, Stephanie (Abigail Klein) and Alex (Robert Scott Wilson) are dealing with a stalker they think is Jeremy Horton (Michael Roark). So we seem to be getting closer and closer to whatever is going on in the video preview.
Meanwhile, Jada’s focus has been on work and dating. She is an integral element in helping Stephanie, Alex, and Steve (Stephen Nichos) tackle the stalker problem. Plus, she went on one date with Theo (Tyler Joseph Andrews). Their second date never happened because Theo was kidnapped along with the other DiMeras. He was subsequently injured and spent time in the hospital.
Since his release from the hospital, nothing has happened on the Theo and Jada front. Just some talk. Plus, Theo seems to be carrying a torch for Gabi (Cherie Jimenez). Relationships in Salem are definitely in motion. Gabi and Philip (John-Paul Lavoisier) are a thing. However, even that one’s not necessarily a keeper.
