On the Friday, November 22 episode of Days of Our Lives, Sarah took literal steps forward in her recovery. Meanwhile, Kristen’s confrontation with Brady in the middle of Horton Town Square quickly sent her spiraling. What? You couldn’t expect her to remain chill after what Ava told her regarding any chances of Kristen and Brady getting back together.

She Feels, She Walks!

Since Kayla (Mary Beth Evans) administered the miracle serum Kristen (Stacy Haiduk) so “graciously” handed over, it’s been a waiting game for Sarah (Linsey Godfrey) and Xander (Paul Telfer). The first time she tried to walk, nothing happened.

After Maggie’s (Suzanne Rogers) clumsy accident, a water bottle dropped on Sarah’s legs. Thankfully, it was the best thing that could ever happen because she felt it. For the first time since the hit-and-run, she had feeling in her legs.

Obviously, Sarah became determined to walk despite Maggie and Xander’s advice. And by the end of Friday’s episode, Sarah took steps. It wasn’t many, and she wisely had a cane in hand, but she took them. So, Sarah’s on the mend and on her way back to being able to run alongside Victoria.

Is Sarah in the clear? Knowing this is a cure-all from Dr. Rolf (Richard Wharton), there’s still the potential for there to be side effects…serious side effects. Right?

She Spirals, She Rages!

While Sarah made progress, Kristen slid backwards, at least in her relationship with Brady (Eric Martsolf). It’s a well-known fact that Kristen lives her best transactional life. She doesn’t do anything without something in it for her.

She originally wanted Xander and Sarah to free Brady. But when that happened anyway, without their help, she changed the deal. Then it became about acquiring Titan. However, Brady dangled a change in their relationship. Titan was no longer on the table, she handed over the serum “out of the goodness of her heart.” But we all knew she did it thinking Brady would be impressed and want to reunite.

Clearly, Brady manipulated the situation. He even admitted it to Ava (Tamara Braun) during the conversation Kristen raged about on Friday. Ultimately, he did what he had to do. Of course, Kristen didn’t hold back. She screamed in frustration at Brady. She speculated that he never even once considered reuniting with her.

And even though he wisely stated that they were no good together. That they were a toxic pairing, Kristen railed against that. And then she used the one card she has in her sleeve. Rachel (Finley Rose Slater). She’s going to punish Brady by keeping his daughter away from him.

And that is why it’s crazy that Kristen has sole custody of Rachel. Sure, Brady’s problematic at times and a hot mess all the time. But he loves his children and he should be able to have a relationship with Rachel without this constant threat over his head that Kristen will shut him out.

What will Brady do? Will he take Kristen to court to change the custody arrangement? His recent fall off the wagon will not look too good right about now.

What do you think Brady should do? What’s your first impression of this version of Stephanie (Abigail Klein) and Philip (John-Paul Lavoisier)? Did you think Johnny (Carson Boatman) might confess all to Chanel (Raven Bowens) after talking in his sleep? And why do you think Joy (AlexAnn Hopkins) spilled all to Alex (Robert Scott Wilson)? Also, will Alex spill all to Chanel?
