On the March 12 episode of Days of our Lives, Rolf discovered Stephanie and Jeremy where Owen stashed them in EJ’s underground compound. Instead of setting them free, he left them tied up and went running to EJ with the news. EJ was not pleased and told Rolf that he needed to make sure no one ever found Stephanie and Jeremy again. But it seemed to be too late, as Cat was letting Kayla into the secret lair. Will EJ spin the situation to his own advantage?
Key Takeaways
- Kayla is looking for Stephanie.
- Is it too late for EJ to hide her?
- Will EJ take credit for her rescue, instead?
Every Day, It’s A-Getting Closer
Kayla (Mary Beth Evans) convinced Cat (AnnaLynne McCord) to use Mark’s (Jonah Robinson) passcode to let her into EJ’s (Dan Feuerriegel) lab, so she could look for the missing Stephanie (Abigail Klein).
Now it looks like she’s mere minutes away from rescuing her daughter — and from hearing Stephanie tell her about Rolf (Richard Wharton) leaving Stephanie and Jeremy (Michael Roark) to their fates.
Finish Him!
Rolf went running to EJ, and EJ told Rolf to get rid of the kidnappees. But it might be too late. So what will EJ do? He knows that Stephanie and Jeremy will blab about Rolf, so, EJ being EJ, he’ll want to get ahead of the blame being blown his way.
What if, once he realizes it’s too late to silence them, EJ frantically calls Kayla or Steve (Stephen Nichols), and screams that Rolf just told him where Stephanie and Jeremy are, so they have to go get them right away! They’re in danger from Owen (Wes Ramsey).
A Dollar Short
Steve will then tell EJ that Stephanie has been found, and EJ will breathe a big, dramatic sigh of relief. Thank goodness! EJ called as soon as Rolf told him! He didn’t hesitate for a minute!
As to why Rolf didn’t free Stephanie and Jeremy immediately, well, he wanted to be sure the two weren’t there at EJ’s command. But, of course, EJ would never, ever do that. He is a good, responsible citizen. No, no need to thank him. He’s just being the hero Salem deserves.
