On the February 12 episode of Days of our Lives, EJ mentioned that the only person who’d be sad to see him disappear off the face of the earth would be Sydney. At the same time, Chanel and Johnny received an anniversary gift from his twin, Allie. Could Sami’s daughters be headed back to Salem? And are we going to see a Sami/Carrie rivalry redux?
Key Takeaways
- Sami’s girls are needed on the canvas.
- Allie could be the new Carrie.
- Sydney could be the new Sami.
Missing Persons
Back in the 1990s, it was so weird to see Sami (Alison Sweeney) living in Salem while her twin brother, Eric (Greg Vaughan), was nowhere to be found for literally years. Now, it’s just as strange to see Johnny (Carson Boatman) without his twin, Allie (Lindsay Arnold).
And when they were both in town, we wondered where little sister Sydney was. It’s time for Sami’s younger three kids to hit town. (And shouldn’t the oldest Will [Chandler Massey] be checking in on daughter Air [Marissa Reyes], while we’re at it?)
The Power of Three
Allie and Sydney have the potential to be the next generation’s Sami and Carrie (Christie Clark). When Allie first arrived in town, we thought she had the potential to be a troublemaking vixen like her mom.
But by making Allie pregnant, she quickly turned into a sad sack. Relationships with Tripp (Lucas Adams) and Chanel (Raven Bowens) fizzled, even after a threesome with Alex (Robert Scott Wilson). Which is why we’re afraid Allie is destined to be the good-girl Carrie in any potential triangle.
Good Genes
Sydney, on the other hand, is a blank slate. She’s Sami and EJ’s (Dan Feuerriegel) daughter. And she was even briefly raised by Nicole (Arianne Zucker).
If anyone was born and bred to be a bad girl, it’s Sydney. And we can’t wait to watch the sparks fly between sisters. But they have to come to Salem first.
