On the December 8 episode of Days of our Lives, Gabi flashed back to when Tony betrayed her and refused to make her CEO of DiMera Enterprises. Which made us wonder: Is the one behind his kidnapping… and that of his siblings?

Key Takeaways

  • Gabi has a grudge against Tony.
  • Gabi was the last person with Theo before he disappeared.
  • Gabi has reasons to dislike Chad and Kristen, too.

Gabi Will Never Forgive, Never Forget

Gabi (Cherie Jimenez) did her part: She planted the bug that recorded Xander (Paul Telfer) and Philip’s (John-Paul Lavoisier) conversation about their fraud. She did everything Tony (Thaao Penghlis) asked of her.

Gabi expected to be rewarded. But Tony double-crossed her, and appointed Theo (Joseph Tyler Andrews) CEO. Then, to add insult to injury, when Gabi protested, Theo suggested it was because he was autistic. And not because he had no experience running a company. It had to be personal. Gabi didn’t take that well, either.

Gabi Saw Theo Last

Jada (Elia Cantu) made a point of stressing that Gabi was the last person to see Theo before he went missing, speculating that he went off with someone he knew… someone he trusted. But Jada doesn’t know that Gabi was angling for Theo’s CEO job.

As far as Jada knows, Gabi has no reason to resent Theo. This means she won’t pursue that route too aggressively.

Gabi’s Bad Blood With DiMeras

Plus, Chad (Billy Flynn) broke Gabi’s heart, and Kristen (Stacy Haiduk) went up against Gabi and her most recently missing ex-husband, Stefan (Brandon Barash). We can see how Gabi would have no qualms about kidnapping them all and stashing them in the family crypt.

But this is too big a job for Gabi to handle alone. Especially if she wants to keep her hands clean. Gabi must have help. And our money is on the soon-to-return Peter Blake (Dan Gauthier). Their motives would be in alignment. As would their resentments.
