Regrets, FAbby is Having a Few on September 16 Days of Our Lives

Poor Chad and his puppy dog heart eyes that he’s clearly showing for “Abigail.” In the Monday, September 16 episode of Days of Our Lives, he reminisced about their past. On top of that, he recited one of his wedding vows, hoping to spark a memory or two. Alas, that didn’t happen (and it won’t ever happen). However, what it did spark were emotions in FAbby. It seems she’s already catching feelings, and now it looks like she’s regretting her actions, which, of course, have to do with Clyde. Why is Clyde obsessed with Salem and its inhabitants?

Trip Down Memory Lane

Chad (Billy Flynn — who’s marking 10 years as Chad) arrived at the DiMera mansion with a photo album designed to help ignite “Abby’s” (AnnaLynne McCord) memory. Does that tactic ever work on soaps? They try and try again, but it feels like those memories will come back when they want to come back.

That didn’t stop Thomas (Cary Christopher) and Charlotte’s (Olivia and Oakley Rondou) dad. Instead, Chad told his not-wife about their three weddings, and then he recited one of his vows to her. Every word struck a chord in Fabby’s cold heart, so much so that you could tell she caught feelings. Nope, she couldn’t resist Chad’s charms. And we definitely

Before these touching moments, Fabby bobbed and weaved and danced around the lies she had been telling. She admitted to lying to Stephanie (Abigail Spencer) and that Steve (Stephen Nichols) was skeptical. DNA test or not, Chad should also let this skeptical flag fly, but he’s distracted by FAbby’s beauty, her sense of humor, and the joy of having his wife back. His guard was already down when he needed to put a few walls up. Protect yourself, Chad!

Clyde Shmyde

When is Clyde (James Read) going to put Salem in his rearview? After all, pretty much every stint ends up with him in jail. But he can’t seem to quit it. He sent Mark (Jonah Robinson) and FAbby to pull a con on Chad and his relatives. He must want to get the DiMera money as revenge and a way to help free him from his shackles.

Apparently, his network behind maximum-security bars is as extensive as when he ran an entire drug operation from Statesville. First, how does he develop this network? How are these people willing to work with him? Does he pay them off, or what? Because his connections can’t be beat.

Second, are Mark and FAbby his children? Or another family he has leverage over? Because they’re going along with his plan. Seriously, what will it take to exterminate the pesky Clyde Weston from Salem? Let’s hope Steve’s curiosity and skepticism will help do the job.

Although, he was an idiot (sorry, he was) for entertaining the thought that Kayla would perform a secret DNA test without FAbby’s consent. Steve will undoubtedly have to get creative to get Clyde out of the hair and out of the business.
