After a day on her own, Brady and Kristen tracked Rachel down to Aremid, where it suddenly looked like nobody lived there. On the Monday, January 27 episode of Days of Our Lives, Rachel was found, and Ava was lost. But a theory we were clinging to was lost as well.
What Was Lost and Found
Found: Rachel Black
Kristen (Stacy Haiduk) admitted to Brady (Eric Martsolf) that she and EJ (Dan Feuerriegel) actually had a good talk. They discussed her family history and the album that suddenly went missing.
Then, Kristen and Brady soon realized that Rachel (Finley Rose Slater) had probably taken it and could be hiding out at Aremid. They found Rachel under the sheets covering the furniture when they got there.
Kristen made sure to ground Rachel for three weeks. And Brady didn’t hold back. He let his daughter know that Ava (Tamara Braun) was very important to him and that this little stunt of hers wasn’t going to reunite him with Kristen.

Lost: Ava Vitali
While Rachel was found, Ava was still lost. The woman in white hid behind the sheets at Aremid so Kristen and Brady didn’t see her. She gave Rachel Ava’s phone and told the girl she would handle Ava.
At this point, Ava is tied up to a rocking chair and has started waking up. So, is the mystery woman just going to keep Ava a prisoner for the foreseeable future? And is Brady just going to forget about her? He just told Rachel that Ava was a big part of his life. He’s not going to just let her go like that—not without a search.
Let’s see how long it takes Young Rachel to text her dad from Ava’s phone. She’ll probably tell him Ava left town or something and break things off with him. That way, he’ll have no choice but to move on.

Lost: The Necklace Theory
After Leo’s chat with Doug III (Peyton Meyer), it seems like Leo (Greg Rikaart) doesn’t have Julie’s (Susan Seaforth Hayes) very important and expensive necklace after all. We had high hopes that Leo had given his own money to Doug and held on to the necklace for whenever the Salem newbie came to his senses.
But that didn’t seem to happen here. Leo said he would have to track it down from the people he fenced it to. And that it would cost even more money to get the necklace back. Money that Doug doesn’t have.

Found: A Job For Doug
However, Doug did get a job. Not sure how he thinks he’s going to pay anybody back or get a priceless necklace back on an assistant job, but it’s something. He’s doing what he can to make amends. Although, what would be nice right now is if he told Julie the truth.
Doug will be working as Leo’s assistant, whatever that position entails. He finally has good intentions. We’ll see how long he has the job, considering Body & Soul is such a disaster right now.
What did you think of the Rachel and the Doug situations? Tate (Leo Howard) also found a potential solution to his and Sophia’s (Madelyn Kientz) adoption plans. Thoughts? Let us know in the comments.
