The fire may not have taken any lives at the Horton home, but it has left its inhabitants shaken and distraught, with nowhere to live. Luckily, Maggie (Suzanne Rogers) — a longtime member of the Horton family, steps up for them. She takes in Julie (Susan Seaforth Hayes), Doug (Bill Hayes), Chad (Billy Flynn), and the kids.
But it looks like Maggie has to do a whole lot more when it comes to Julie. She is in shock and needs all the tender care that Maggie can muster. Could all their family history really be gone? Chad is also on hand to be a rock for Julie and everyone else. But he also knows this was his fault — that phone call told him as much. What will he do about that?
Ava (Tamara Braun) and Stefan (Brandon Barash) realize Clyde (James Read) is dead serious about following through on his threats. Harris (Steve Burton) is holding onto life by a thread and Ava doesn’t want to leave his side. Stefan looks to be lurking nearby. Will he overheard Ava talking about having confided in the cop about what Clyde has been doing to them? Kayla (Mary Beth Evans) is there and seems to have news about Harris.
