Forget that Clyde Weston escaped from prison — a Supermax — again. Let’s focus on Brady and Tate and their potential new pairings. While Brady and Ava chatted in the middle of Horton Town Square, Tate and Sophia chatted and much more at the townhouse. For the father and son, drama was on simmer in the Wednesday, October 30 episode of Days of Our Lives. But it will undoubtedly come for them soon.
Young Love
Tate (Leo Howard) invited Sophia (Madelyn Kientz) over to the townhouse. Fortunately for them, nobody else was home. When the action moved from the main room to Tate’s bedroom, more than a movie was on their minds. Sitting on Tate’s bed, sparks flew, and they started kissing. By the end of the episode, Sophia asks Tate if he has a condom, so it’s more than likely that sex is in their immediate future…unless they’re interrupted.

What Can Go Wrong? Holly.
While things heated up between Sophia and Tate, Holly (Ashley Puzemis) was at the townhouse door. She kept knocking because she really wanted to talk to Tate now that she knew that Brady (Eric Martsolf — whose Day Players band recently raised money for charity) wasn’t guilty of mowing down her Aunt Sarah (Linsey Godfrey). She hoped Tate could forgive her for her transgressions.
When Sophia and Tate talked about Holly, Sophia expressed how she wasn’t some rebound or second choice. And she had concerns that Tate wasn’t over Holly yet. This was a valid concern because Tate and Holly haven’t been over that long. Those feelings haven’t gone anywhere.
Yet, Sophia and Tate represent a couple that, currently, isn’t a lot of work, not like his relationship with Holly. But if Tate thinks that it’ll be smooth sailing with Sophia, he better think again. Holly’s not going anywhere. Will she fight for Tate?
New Pairing, Who Dis?
For the last few months, DAYS has been dropping occasional Brady and Ava (Tamara Braun) scenes, testing this pairing out. And now that he’s free of this drunk driving mess that plagued his life, Brady’s free to pursue other opportunities, so to speak.
So, having a lighthearted conversation with Ava about Tate’s love life and their lack of love life had to be refreshing. They chatted in the middle of Horton Town Square over club soda. Is Ava Brady’s next pairing? Harris (Steve Burton) and Theresa (Emily O’Brien) are out of the picture. Why not?

What Can Go Wrong? Kristen.
Brady doesn’t need to live his life by the Kristen (Stacy Haiduk) factor, but he needs to think about her a little here. She will quickly go all scorched earth on him when she finds out that he and Ava might even be an inkling of a thing. Kristen has been doing everything to get Brady to drop the walls he wisely has around her.
Kristen got rid of evidence in the drunk driving case — for him. She just got him a new car that requires a massive owner’s manual to drive it. What’s more, she’s putting joint custody back on the table. However, wait until Brady finds out that she’s not giving Xander (Paul Telfer) and Sarah the serum out of the goodness of her heart.
Meanwhile, Ava is a former mafia princess who knows her way around an evil scheme or two hundred. Lately, she’s been well-behaved. Will having Kristen as an enemy bring out the old Ava?
