Police Bust Up Xarah’s Long-Awaited Reunion on DAYS

In the Tuesday, February 13 episode of Days of our Lives, the Salem PD’s fight against Clyde Weston’s drug ring continued. Dealing with the recent wave of crime against the town’s residents kept Rafe and Jada busy. But after someone shot Harris and the Horton’s house burned down, they needed a break. Unfortunately for Xander, their break resulted in his arrest at the most inopportune of times.

Reunited, And It Feels So Good

Previously, Xander (Paul Telfer) removed himself from Sarah’s arms in order to go out on a “run” and keep their connection platonic. Apparently, he had no need for his phone, and Sarah spotted a text he received that said, “Is it done?”

Once Xander returned to his place, Sarah (Linsey Godfrey) innocently asked him where in the world he’d been. Clearly lying, Xander didn’t give in to Sarah’s attempts to get closer and closer to him. Instead, he decided to take a shower. Suddenly, Sarah stepped into the shower, and the two immediately started kissing and having a hot and steamy time. Then they moved their reunion to the bedroom.

Rudely Interrupted

For all intents and purposes, this Xander and Sarah 3.0 version should go much more smoothly than ever before. As far as Sarah’s concerned, nothing stands in their way, no time jumps, baby switches, or kidnappings. Even Xander is expressing regrets over his past and acting more maturely.

Unfortunately, he’s also quietly dealing with his own complications. Ones that could cause major trouble for the family he’s built with Sarah and Victoria. There was that mystery caller (presumably James Read’s Clyde or one of his henchmen). When Sarah questioned him about the weird text, Xander denied knowing what it meant. And then, when the black-clad mystery men spread chaos and destruction across Salem, it looked like he could be one of them.

Why? Well, Wendy (Victoria Grace) used her considerable tech talents to trace a call from a burner phone. Based on what she discovered, the Salem PD geared up and busted in on Sarah and Xander in bed. They arrested Xander without even letting him put a shirt on. There goes the Xarah reunion! In record time, things went from love and hearts to cuffs and Miranda Rights.

Will Xander and Sarah be able to come back from this? And what exactly are the cops accusing Xander of doing? In other news, who was the shady cop staring at Stefan (Brendan Barash) at the hospital on Days of our Lives?
