DAYS Alum Patrick Muldoon Reunites Game of Thrones Stars In New Film

Austin Reed may not have been known for being that smart (look how he allowed himself to be played by Sami so much!), but his portrayer, Patrick Muldoon, has done an incredible job making the switch to film producer, working with some incredible actors along the way. Now, with his new project, he’s doing something that will thrill millions of fans.

Game of Thrones Reunion

On the HBO series, Kit Harington (read about the actor’s onscreen/offscreen romance here) was wildly popular for playing the brooding Jon Snow while Sophie Turner played his younger sister, Sansa Stark for all eight seasons of the Emmy Award-winning (both actors received nominations) series. The two shared an incredibly strong bond onscreen, and now fans will get to see them together again — thanks in part to Muldoon.

The film, The Dreadful, is a gothic horror, written and directed by Kermani. According to Deadline, “the film set against the backdrop of the War of the Roses follows Anne (Turner) and her mother-in-law Morwen, who live a solitary, harsh life on the outskirts of society. But when a man (Harington) from their past returns he will set off a sequence of events that become a turning point for Anne.”

Muldoon has worked with some of the biggest names in Hollywood during his prolific producing career that totals at least 15 films. He made The Comeback Trail, with Robert DeNiro, Tommy Lee Jones, and Morgan Freeman, and Marlowe with Liam Neeson and Jessica Lange, just to name a couple. There is no word just yet on when this exciting new project will be released.
