Peter Reckell, who celebrated 40 years as Bo Brady on Days of our Lives last year, is still in touch with his fans even though he’s not on the show right now. However, the actor’s devotees are being warned that there are some phony accounts pretending to be the real deal on social media.
Don’t Be Fooled by Robo Bo
“Hi Lovelies,” began a Tweet from Kelly Moneymaker, Reckell’s filmmaker/singer wife. “There’s a new Peter Reckell FB imposter (see below)! Ugh! Peter-Reckell Backup Account is stealing images from one of my films and private photos, as well as images from DOOL. Thanks for letting me know, Sharon! We appreciate how you all take such good care of us!
“Please warn others,” Reckell’s supportive mate continued. “This impersonator is claiming he’ll be doing a European Personal Appearance Tour! And of course, he wants to charge you money over FB messenger. The real @peterreckell is NOT doing a PA [personal appearance] tour and if he ever does, he will announce it on his website.” (FYI: You can check out Reckell’s site for links to his official social accounts.)
“I tried to post this before and FB blocked me because they said it’s against their community standards!” Moneymaker added. “I don’t know why imposters stealing Peter’s identity isn’t against their standards? Sometimes I think the imposters work at FB. Love & Light – Kelly.”

But that coupling, Bo and Hope, really deserve to have some kind of resolution — especially with the 60th anniversary coming up [in 2025].
“I do believe the show is going to have us back,” the actor added, hastening to add that he had no specific information to share. “I had a conversation with Ken [Corday, executive producer] …I feel that there is something coming up for us, but I don’t know when.”
