The Monday, October 14 episode of Days of Our Lives was highly productive. Secrets were admitted, remembered, and discovered. And it was glorious. Now, what does this all mean for the people who banked on those secrets staying secret? Nothing good.
The secret phase of this drunk driving paralysis story is just about over. While last week, Sarah (Linsey Godfrey) remembered Fiona (Serena Scott Thomas) was the one behind the wheel, in Monday’s episode, she confronted her mad mother-in-law.
While it took some time, Fiona finally admitted it and then proceeded to try and throw a wheelchair-bound Sarah down the steps. Thankfully, Xander (Paul Telfer) arrived in time to stop that from happening.
From here on out, Xander will need to confront his mom. Fiona had it good, but she went too far. It’ll be hard for Xander to forgive his mom unless he doesn’t go the hypocritical route, considering he recently drugged and tried to kill Brady (Eric Martsolf) by making it look like a suicide. Plus, this will free Brady.

Brady had better thank his brother over and over again and then thank him one more time after that. His determination to find out the truth triggered Sarah’s memories. And now Eric’s (Greg Vaughan) faith in his brother helped trigger Brady’s own memories of the night in question. But he did remember that Fiona was the culprit.
Brady’s remembering will alleviate the immense guilt he felt for causing Sarah’s paralysis. Plus, he’s a second source that can nail Fiona for the crime. But there’s also an added benefit. He gets to stick it to EJ. Because when he faces the Salem District Attorney, EJ (Daniel Feuerriegel) will have to let Brady go. The satisfaction will be real.

A clever Steve (Stephen Nichols) took matters into his own hands. He targeted Dr. Mark Greene (Jonah Robinson) and explained his need. First, he flattered Mark and then asked a favor. That he hoped he would run the Abigail DNA test again, even though the first one was conclusive.

Steve said he hoped this test re-run would silence the whispers. After Mark agreed, Steve gave him new samples from Abigail and Thomas (Cary Christopher). When the results returned conclusive again, Steve knew he had him because they were actually Steve and Kayla’s (Mary Beth Evans) DNA.
When Steve was alone, he loudly talked about how he had Greene right where he wanted him. He now knew that the doctor had faked the original results. It also looked like the shady doc overheard Steve’s monologuing, which was probably Steve’s plan.
This means that Mark must put his plan to kill Chad (Billy Flynn) into motion ASAP. Will Steve follow him to Paris? Steve’s actions could out Fake Abby (AnnaLynne McCord), plus bring down Clyde (James Read) and his plans to steal the DiMera fortune.
