On the Monday, November 18 episode of Days of Our Lives, the Body & Soul reboot finally reached a pivotal point in its lifespan: its streaming debut. As the cast, producers, and the show’s head writer all prepared to watch the premiere, they each received a special cupcake. However, they had no clue who sent the delicious dessert designed to celebrate this momentous occasion. What could go wrong?

At the DiMera mansion, even though cupcakes arrived for both Johnny (Carson Boatman) and Chanel (Raven Bowens), EJ (Dan Feuerriegel) took an interest in the dessert. Later, Joy (AlexAnn Hopkins) joined Chanel and Johnny to watch the Body & Soul debut. Abe (James Reynolds), Paulina (Jackée Harry), Kate (Lauren Koslow), and Roman (Josh Taylor) watched the premiere episode together. As did Javi (Al Calderon) and Leo (Greg Rikaart). Meanwhile, Bonnie (Judi Evans) warned Alex (Robert Scott Wilson) about sampling the cupcake. Did he listen?

Kate also received the cupkake. She has no idea who sent it. As a result, she said she’d check with Abe. Meanwhile at Abe and Paulina’s place, they also received a cupcake from some mystery source. Kate called Abe and talked to Paulina, who invited Kate and Roman over to watch the premiere together. Kate agreed. Bonnie visited her shirtless stepson. In her hands, she had two cupcake boxes — one for her and one that had arrived for Alex. When Alex decided to partake in the cupcake, Bonnie stopped him. After ali, they had no idea who sent the dessert. They could be poisoned! Alex, thankfully, didn’t take a bite. Once Kate and Roman arrived to watch the debut, Paulina broke out Abe’s cupcake. At Leo’s hotel room, he showed the beautiful cupcake to the man he just slept with, Javi. Abe was the first Body &. Soul creative to take a bite of the cupcake. EJ grabbed Chanel’s cupcake for himself. He said it’d be better than a protein bar. Then he left. Next, Johnny ate the cupcake while Chanel and Joy refrained because of their upcoming love scenes. After Alex worked out, he grabbed the cupcake out of the trash, and he ate it. EJ was about to eat the cupcake, but then Paulina caused him to drop it. Roman prepared to eat the cupcake…but we’re not sure he actually took a bite. Poor Abe — after getting a pleased word from the steraming network, he started getting sick. What’s going on?
