In the Monday, May 12 episode of Days of Our Lives, Philip is very curious about Titan-DiMera’s latest brainstorm — to buy the hospital. Meanwhile, Brady and Kristen spend quality time together as they deal with Rachel’s lonely birthday party. Holly finds out Doug III dropped out of high school. And Chanel deals with her guilt over giving Sarah the wrong scone. In other news, both Johnny and Roman tell their wives they didn’t shoot EJ. Then who did?

Is Johnny Innocent or Guilty

Well, Johnny (Carson Boatman) answered Chanel’s big question from Friday. He claimed that he didn’t shoot his dad, even though he wouldn’t spend time mourning him if he were dead. He wondered how Chanel (Raven Bowens) could think that about him. Is he not aware of how he has been acting?

Chanel told him all about his behavior since his dad was shot. For one, he blindsided her by cutting off the adoption out of the blue. He never told her how he was feeling. Suddenly, he didn’t know if he would be a good father and, of course, he had no alibi for the night of the shooting. He said he went for a walk as if that would cover it

Johnny mostly talked a good game, even though he was as harsh about EJ (Dan Feuerriegel) as ever. He said he was convinced this world would be better without his father. But what he told Chanel was that he wanted a family with her eventually. But he had to get his head straight on first.

He told her he would go to therapy and that he had gotten himself a job with Titan-DiMera. He was only thinking about their future. And that was enough for Chanel. She told him to check out of the hotel and come home. However, isn’t it time they find a place of their own? How long will they live with Abe (James Reynolds) and Paulina (Jackée Harry)?

Roman’s Suspicions

Meanwhile, Roman (Josh Taylor) had to answer to Kate (Lauren Koslow), who questioned his actions on the night of the shooting. Granted, Kate said if Roman had shot EJ, she would be on his side. And she would no doubt help him continue to cover it up.

Thankfully, for her, Roman claimed he didn’t shoot Johnny’s father. But he is suspicious of someone — the someone who grabbed his gun from the lockbox the night EJ was shot. He’s worried. Roman didn’t give Kate a name yet, but we all know it was Johnny.
