After watching the Thursday, March 20 episode of Days of Our Lives, it became clear we needed to add Kate to the long list of EJ’s biggest threats. Plus, Jada made a big move in her quest to make EJ pay for working with Arnold Feniger and kidnapping Rafe.
Kate Threatened EJ
Kate (Lauren Koslow) and EJ’s scenes were some of the best of Thursday’s episode. Their heated argument wonderfully mined the past and spelled trouble for the future. It all ended with Kate directly threatening EJ (Dan Feuerriegel), which can’t be good for either of them.
EJ was hella upset that Kate filled in the blanks for Johnny (Carson Boatman). While Kate expressed how much she didn’t want to tell Johnny about EJ raping Sami (Alison Sweeney), she really had no other choice after Roman (Josh Taylor) opened that door. And as much as EJ wanted to put the blame on Roman, he ultimately leveled it on Kate.
In addition to figuring out how to stay out of jail, his new mission is to make Kate pay by presumably destroying one of her kids. And the one that is currently in town — and is Kate’s apparent favorite — is Philip (John-Paul Lavoisier). This latest development will add a layer to the Titan trying to take over DiMera arc.
Kate and EJ know a lot about each other’s pasts, so they could inflict a lot of damage, especially of the collateral variety.

Be Careful, EJ
Meanwhile, Jada (Elia Cantu) was determined to bring down EJ. She zeroed in on Rachel Blake (Roslyn Gentle) as the way to do that. Jada had a good feeling that Kristen’s mother had information on EJ kidnapping Rafe (Galen Gering) and holding him at Aremid.
Police Commissioner Jada Hunter knew she was right; all she needed was for Rachel to testify and throw EJ under the bus. She confronted the mother and daughter about Rachel going to prison for aiding and abetting EJ…unless she came clean about what really happened.

Later, at the precinct, Jada drew up an immunity deal that Kristen (Stacy Haiduk) ultimately accepted. Unfortunately for Mother Blake, EJ had his own plans. After learning about the deal Jada and Kristen were brokering, EJ got his trusty CRS-17-filled syringe from his safe, and, well, we all know what he’s going to do with it.
Kristen won’t be happy. And we all saw that gun heirloom in her purse. Thankfully, Kristen’s already on our list of EJ’s biggest threats.
What did you think of Kate and EJ’s conversation? And about how determined Jada was? Also, how about Johnny and Rafe’s conversation? Let us know in the comments.
