Marlena asked Maggie to come over to her apartment to discuss “wedding details” on the May 9 episode of Days of Our Lives. Maggie was beyond shocked when John, Steve, and Marlena filled her in on how Konstantin used Stefano’s card to hypnotize John into doing his bidding. Now, they have a plan in motion.

Konstantin Messes With the Wrong Redhead

Maggie (Suzanne Rogers) was horrified when Marlena (Deidre Hall), John (Drake Hogestyn), and Steve (Stephen Nichols) explained how they figured out what Konstantin (John Kapelos) was up to. John had missed time in almost every instance he was alone with Konstantin, which prompted Marlena to use hypnosis on him. They realized that the sinister Greek was wielding a card that Stefano (Joseph Mascolo) used to trigger John into becoming a ruthless operative known as The Pawn. (He might want to pop over to General Hospital and use the card on Drew [Cameron Mathison] to get him back to normal.) (Find out details regarding The Pawn.)

The three explained how Marlena helped John push past Konstantin’s control and pretend to do what he said. Maggie was even further upset when she learned that Konstantin had ordered him to retrieve the prenup from her safe so that he could burn it. Thankfully, John swapped out the original with a fake and gave the real papers to Maggie. If that wasn’t bad enough, Maggie was extremely aghast when she realized that Konstantin’s endgame was to eliminate her and steal all her dough.

The three heroes told her they had a plan to take the Konman down, and Maggie readily agreed to go along with it, swearing, “Damn him, he has messed with the wrong redhead!” In a subtle yet effective scene, Maggie was left in tears, but you could see the resolve on her face as she left to go and play pretend with the villain.

How Will Their Plan Go Down?

John gave Maggie a crucifix charm that was actually an ISA micro-device that can summon him or Steve, which is super cool in a sci-fi way, but is it like a Life Alert? How does it magically know if she’s in trouble? Does she just holler, “I’m trapped, and Konstantin won’t let me get out!” and they’ll come to the rescue in the Black Patchmobile? Inquiring minds need to know these details.

They also plan to set her phone up so they can track her, which is a great idea, however if Konstantin gets to the point where he’s going to chain her up in a warehouse somewhere, he’ll most likely smash her phone.

Ideally, the trio is going to need to set up a situation where Konstantin has to use the card on a faking John again, and they must film it. Up till now, they have no proof of what he’s done, but if they do that, they’re sure to nab him.
