At the end of the Tuesday, January 7 episode of Days of Our Lives, viewers were clued into the identity of Lady Whistleblower. It’s someone who fairly recently resurfaced after being rejected.
The Update
This Body & Soul-centric episode featured Chanel (Raven Bowens) quitting the soap and suggesting her character be recast. Leo (Greg Rikaart) and Javi (Al Calderon) made up and decided to be friends. Hattie (Deidre Hall) and Bonnie (Judi Evans) also reunited. They forgave each other, and after Hattie swore on Leo’s soap bible, she may be back on B&S.
Plus, Stephanie (Abigail Klein) turned to Chad (Billy Flynn) to help track down the identity of Lady Whistleblower, whose latest column upped the ante on the hot goss. LW is not only leaking spoilers and blasting the show’s behind-the-scenes dirty laundry but also criticizing the actors’ skills.

The Reveal
Lady Whistleblower’s antics didn’t just frustrate and anger Leo. Abe (James Reynolds) didn’t look happy either. After all, the columnist also took a potshot at him in print.
So, when Kerry (Derek Yates) interrupted Leo and Javi’s nice make-up session, our spidey senses started tingling. Then Chad helped Stephanie get some intel on the anonymous blogger’s identity. They traced LW’s loan-out company to a bank in Rochester, New York, called the Spaulding Lewis Bank and Trust. Fun reference, by the way. Spaulding and Lewis were two of the biggest, most iconic families on the late great soap opera Guiding Light.
Kerry didn’t seem happy to see Leo and Javi getting along. Later, when he and Javi returned to Rafe’s (Galen Gering) place, Javi revealed that Kerry had just traveled to Rochester. After he left the room, Kerry took out his phone and wrote his latest Lady Whistleblower post. Boom.

Is There More to the Story?
Maybe we’re underestimating Kerry, but is the reason he’s getting his revenge simply because Leo rejected him once upon a time? Was it not enough that he ended up getting together with the guy that Leo likes? Why such an extreme reaction?

At one point, fans (and us) speculated that Gwen (Emily O’Brien) was behind this all because she was absolutely someone who would go over the top to get back at someone, and Leo, her bestie, betrayed her badly. Could she be behind enlisting Kerry’s talents? Or is this a one-man job?
And now that DAYS viewers know the identity of the anonymous columnist, when will Leo and the B&S cast and crew?
