As suspected, Tate ratting out Doug III resulted in Julie’s falling out with her late husband’s grandson. Who knew that Julie kicking Doug to the curb wouldn’t be the only major rejection in the Tuesday, March 25 episode of Days of Our Lives?
Rejection Central
Rejection #1: Tate snitches, Julie throws Doug out of the Horton House
While Doug III (Peyton Meyer) had plenty of time to confess to stealing Alice’s necklace, it was still difficult to see the relationship he had built with Julie (Susan Seaforth Hayes) crumble in mere minutes. After he confirmed that he indeed stole the necklace, she unloaded on him, and she had every right to. She thought he was a miracle who came to share her life. Instead, he took advantage of her at the most vulnerable time of her life. She accused her brother of stealing the necklace, but he never told the truth.
Before he left the house, he apologized to Julie, saying he was desperate and stupid and that he understood what he had done was unforgivable. He clearly knew what he was losing. Julie was this light in his life, and he messed it up.

Rejection #2: Ava breaks up with Brady
Ava (Tamara Braun) breaking up with Brady (Eric Martsolf) was definitely on our bingo card for 2025. However, we thought it would have happened before Tuesday’s episode. Too much has happened between them, at least for now. Two Rachel’s meddling to the point of kidnapping was bad enough. But being unable to get justice because Brady would lose his daughter to CPS — there had to be consequences. And, unfortunately for Brady, losing Ava was it. They may not be done forever, but everything between them is so chaotic and messy that there’s no way they can carry on a viable relationship.
Plus, it seems like Ava may be focused on getting a different kind of justice. If Kristen (Stacy Haiduk), Rachel (Ros Gentle), and EJ (Dan Feuerriegel) can’t go to jail, she has a gun that’s burning a hole in her purse. That may be another reason why she’s pushing Brady away. She’s about to channel her inner Mafia princess again.
Rejection #3: EJ turns down Kristen’s CEO offer
Before Kristen could get her mom to sign the immunity deal that Jada (Elia Cantu) offered, EJ had Rita (Maggie Carney) work her magic once again. The woman made Arnold Feniger (Galen Gering) disappear, and now she’s done the same with Rachel. Kristen wanted her mother returned, so she offered EJ her job at DiMera. Yes, she was willing to give up her cushy CEO gig. Alas, EJ was tempted for a second, but self-preservation won out. The immunity deal meant Rachel would have to throw EJ under the bus. As a result, he refused the offer.

And now Kristen is primed and ready to get her mother back at any cost. “This isn’t over, EJ. I will get my mother back one way or another, and I will make you pay!” Does EJ even care how many people he’s pissing off?
