After murdering Li Shin and framing Gabi for it, as well as stabbing Rafe and offing Everett while also framing him for that crime on Days of Our Lives, Julie Dove’s Connie left a lasting impression of madness. She also tried blowing up Melinda and Gabi and attacked Ava and Stefan, nearly killing them all. Now that she’s being sent up the river, Dove sent a heartfelt goodbye to her fans.

Ideas for the Future

At the time of shooting her final episodes, Dove made a goodbye video and posted it on Instagram with the caption, “Thank you @dayspeacock fans. I am one of you and I love you all. ⌛️💛 #Days.” Her costar and new bestie Cherie Jimenez (Gabi) replied, “So incredibly proud of you my love! You absolutely killed it 😉🔪💣 HA! Grateful that @dayspeacock brought you into my life ♥️ I love you.”

In the clip, Dove said, “Today is Wednesday, February 14th, and I’m wrapping my run as Connie for now. You’ve probably seen today’s episode, and I’m going to Bayview, so hopefully, we’ll visit me, and maybe I can run into any other Salemites that have been sent there.” She also hoped that, in the future, Marlena (Deidre Hall) would be able to provide Connie with some much-needed therapy.

Pursue Your Dreams Wholeheartedly

Dove explained that she sent thank-you messages out. And she was touched by a gift that Judi Evans (Bonnie) gave to her. “It’s so sweet, and she wrote me the sweetest note,” she stated, adding, “Armando, my amazing hair person, gave me a gluten-free cupcake, which was divine. And the set photographer Jill took a picture of me in the Brady Pub.” She was so happy to have a keepsake like that.

Producer Janet Spellman-Drucker also personally thanked Dove when she finished taping her last scenes. She was grateful to for the role and encouraged her fans to continue to pursue their dreams no matter what. “Follow your heart because I promise you it’ll bring you joy if you just let yourself do what you really want to be and be your true self, she remarked.

In closing, she got a little choked up, stating, “These are really wonderful people, and everyone works so hard here every day, and I’m just so grateful to be a small part of this history.” Leaving the door open for a possible return, Dove ended by saying, “Until next time.”
