Through her many characters, Judi Evans has been making daytime viewers feel for over 40 years. Now, the Days of our Lives actress, who plays Bonnie, is sharing a personal real-life story that will surely touch those who love her.
A Mother’s Love
“May is a difficult month for me,” Evans began an emotional Instagram post. “May is a difficult month for me. Mother’s Day and [my son] Austin’s birthday are usually about 2 weeks apart. This year, it was also the 60th anniversary of #AnotherWorld – a show that would provide me with more than I could have ever imagined.
“Not only was #AW a job filled with people I loved and adored, but it led me to my husband, my child, and our family,” the actress continues. “One of my greatest joys was having my Austin play my son, Dante Carlino; a treasured memory l have frozen in time forever, one that I wanted to share a piece of with all of you today.”

“There are no parameters on being a mother… of providing love, comfort, safety, and joy to those around you,” Evans warmly added. “Here’s to all the forever mothers.”
Evans’ DAYS pals are sharing support for their pal. “I love you, Judi,” wrote Tamara Braun (Ava). Greg Rikaart (Leo) echoed Braun’s sentiment. George DelHoyo (Orpheus) added: “Forever, indeed! Beautiful, dear Judi!”
As followers of Judi Evans know, she first won the hearts of viewers as Beth Raines on Guiding Light, winning the Daytime Emmy for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Drama Series in 1984. She premiered in the role of Adrienne on DAYS in 1986. In 1991, she joined AW as Paulina and played that part until the show went off the air in 1999. Evans originated the role of Bonnie in 2003.
