While the guys basically sipped beer and stood around The Pub at Fake Rafe’s bachelor party, it looked like the women had more fun. At the very least, Jada’s spicy soiree had way more jello shots than its rival shindig during the Tuesday, January 28 episode of Days of Our Lives.
The Women Take the W
Not that it was an actual competition, but in the battle of the bachelor/bachelorette parties, the women clearly won. Theirs was fun, colorful, and involved plenty of jello shots. They even had a little drama in the form of party crasher, Chanel (Raven Bowens). She was in spiral mode, still reeling from what Johnny (Carson Boatman) did. Needless to say, she took her problems out on the sauce—meaning the jello shots plus champagne.
They even talked about their worst hookups ever. Gabi (Cherie Jimenez) and Belle’s (Martha Madison) regretful hookup was the same guy: EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel). However, Belle didn’t seem to regret hers that much. She didn’t appreciate what happened once Sami (Alison Sweeney) came back into the picture. She knows she broke girl code (and sister code). But you could get the sense that she’d revisit if given the chance.

The Men Take the L
There isn’t much to say about Javi’s (Al Calderon) bachelor party for his cousin (who isn’t really his cousin). Buckets of beer, an entire bar at their disposal, and a stripper.
EJ’s presence threw everything into a tizzy. Steve didn’t like the fact that EJ hired “Rafe” without letting him know. Things got tense for a little while. When the stripper showed up, Arnold (Galen Gering) was in his element, and just as he was about to get a lap dance, the women from the bigger, better bachelorette party showed up, and things petered out at The Brady Pub.
The Twists
Obviously, the merging of the parties and the drinking had some consequences. Chanel had a bit of a drunken meltdown and unleashed her anger at Johnny…again. Then she ran off with Shawn (Brandon Beemer) going after her. In Wednesday’s episode, the Sweet Bits owner is set to wake up at Shawn’s. But we’re betting this was all innocent. Except for that kiss Chanel planted on him, however.

Belle and EJ also reconnected. By the way, Feuerriegel for the win. EJ’s facial expressions were on point throughout the entire episode. Plus, Arnold got out of spending the night with Jada (Elia Cantu). Instead, he spent the night at the Salem Inn, where he and the exotic dancer hooked up, which is all good as long as he stays away from Jada.
Also, “Rafe” clearly wasn’t acting like Real Rafe (Galen Gering). How can nobody even sense something is up with his behavior?
