On the January 22 episode of Days of our Lives, Jada arrived at the Horton home with a “request” for Jeremy to come down to the police station for questioning. Considering the show has been making it clear that Jeremy is Stephanie’s stalker, we can only hope there’s a twist in store. And we think we know exactly what it could be!
Key Takeaways
- Jeremy is so obviously the stalker, he can’t possibly the stalker.
- Jeremy is being framed.
- The threat is coming from inside the house!.

A DAYS Plot Twist?
From the moment Jeremy (Michael Roark) arrived in Salem, all the signs have pointed to him as Stephanie’s (Abigail Klein) stalker. Not only did they have a past relationship, but he was also abusive and left-handed! What other evidence do you need?
Well, it looks like Jada (Elia Cantu) finally has some more. And the fact that he’d just told Julie (Susan Seaforth Hayes) he was getting ready to flee the scene probably won’t be a mark in Jeremy’s favor.
Jada can prove that the disturbing Stephanie Obsession website’s signal is coming from the Horton house. And the culprit likely isn’t Julie. Or Chad (Billy Flynn). Or Jennifer (Melissa Reeves) or Jack (Matthew Ashford). Or Thomas (Cary Christopher) and Charlotte.
Out of Frame
But that doesn’t mean Jeremy isn’t being framed. There was one more person living in the Salem house recently.
Doug III (Peyton Meyer). Yeah, remember him? The thief? The career criminal? The con artist? He stole Alice’s (Frances Reid) necklace. Sure, he gave it back and apologized profusely. Julie sort of accepted his apology. But he still left town. What if Doug is still seething about that?
Banana Split
And what if he sees Jeremy as a threat to Julie’s affection — and her money? Sure, Julie has a grandson in Eli (Leman Archey), and a stepdaughter in Hope (Kristian Alfonso), as well as other nieces and nephews. She’s going to leave her money to them, obviously.
But Doug would like a piece of the pie. And if getting rid of Jeremy leaves more in the pot to go around, does Doug seem like the kind of guy who’d hesitate? He had means, he had motive, and he had opportunity. So why not frame Jeremy? Anything else would be too obvious. Right?
