Jada, Gabi, & Rafe Rule Themselves Out As Suspects on May 6 Days of Our Lives

In the Tuesday, May 6, episode of Days of Our Lives, Doug started turning his life around when Roman gave him a job and a place to stay at the Brady Pub. Meanwhile, Tate and Sophia decided they simply have to wait until Sophia turns 18. That’s when she can defy her mom and make her own adult decisions. This means she can place her baby with an adoption agency, and her mom won’t have any say. Elsewhere, Javi continued to contemplate quitting Gabi Chic. And Leo stirred the pot like only he can. Also, Jada, Gabi, and Rafe may have ruled themselves out as suspects. So, who does that leave?

Dwindling Suspect List

There was some movement on the EJ (Dan Feuerriegel) shooting. The cops’ suspect list isn’t dwindling, but ours sure is. That is, if everybody’s to be believed.

Jada Hunter

With Jada’s (Elia Cantu) permission, Shawn (Brandon Beemer) questioned her about that night. After all, Jada’s motive for wanting to shoot EJ was strong. Because of him and Arnold Feniger (Galen Gering), her life fell apart. Plus, she hated what he did to Rafe (also Galen Gering). She was in a dark place, but she told Shawn she left her gun at work.

We saw that too. Shawn saw that her gun was missing while she was drinking at Small Bar. When she got to the precinct, it was in her drawer. But one can never be too sure about the timeline. Unlike Gabi (Cherie Jimenez), Jada understood why Shawn had questions for her. In fact, she insisted on his questioning her.

Rafe and Gabi

Rafe and Gabi had it out in their home where no one could hear them. See how that works, Gabi? So much better than spewing hate about EJ in the middle of Horton Town Square.

Anyway, it seemed like Rafe wanted to get his gun, but when he went to grab it, it wasn’t there. So that basically ruled him out. Unfortunately, not so much for Gabi. But she explained (finally!) that, yes, she had the gun. And, yes, she went over to EJ’s. She was going to open the door, but she heard EJ having an argument with someone — a man. But she couldn’t make out who it was. She only knew that it was a male voice.

Ava

While Ava (Tamara Braun) couldn’t be here to rule herself out, Gabi may have just done the job for her. She said that as she tiptoed off the DiMera property, she spotted Ava at the front door. On top of that, Ava must have heard her or something because the next thing Gabi knew, Ava got into her car and drove off. Gabi said she could have come back later, but for now, Ava didn’t shoot EJ.

So, who does that leave? Johnny (Carson Boatman) is absolutely on the list of suspects. Roman (Josh Taylor)? Wouldn’t Gabi recognize their voices? We might have to pay extra attention to this Dr. Russell (Michael Dietz) character this week because EJ will have interactions with him.
