If anybody had a Gabi and EJ relationship on their Days of Our Lives bingo card, think again. After the Tuesday, November 12 episode, a potentially toxic connection has been severed. Those two are never happening. EJ and Gabi seem to be earmarked for other relationships, situationships, or romances.
The Blame Game
Gabi’s (Cherie Jimenez) math isn’t mathing at all. Why would EJ (Dan Feuerriegel) stop the potential destruction of Gabi and Stefan’s (Brandon Barash) marriage? He would absolutely take every step he could to make it happen. Should he have turned down sleeping with her? Yes, of course. But why would he? The dynamic between EJ and Gabi/Stefan was one of contention and back-and-forth backstabbing.
They helped ruin his marriage even though it would have happened without their help. But they prodded the demise of his marriage to Nicole (Arianne Zucker). Gabi put his evils on blast for all to hear, remember? Payback was inevitable, and when it landed right in his lap — literally — he didn’t want to stop the madness.

EJ should take credit for his part, which he did. But was he the sole person to blame for Stefan and Gabi’s end? He could paint a picture for Stefan all he wanted. Stefan’s actions were his own. Gabi’s actions were her own. And, of course, they have no idea how the true end of Stefan’s marriage really happened.
Vivian (Louise Sorel) had Ivan (Ivan G’Vera), basically caveman Stefan, out of the DiMera mansion and sent him to Alamainia. And who knows if they will ever discover Vivian’s underhandedness.

No Hope
While Gabi and EJ share a nice chemistry, there’s no way anything will ever happen between them. That much is now clear. First, EJ admitted he relished Gabi and Stefan’s pain, which tends to put a damper on things.
Also, the recent DAYS winter preview video featured at Day of DAYS clearly showed EJ mixing it up again with an apparently free Belle (Martha Madison). It also showcased a JJ (Casey Moss)/Gabi reunion. And that made sense since JJ yelled at EJ to take his hands off her at the end of Tuesday’s episode.

What did you think of Gabi and EJ’s confrontation in Horton Town Square and JJ’s coming to her rescue at the end? Meanwhile, Cat (AnnaLynne McCord) was officially released, and Julie (Susan Seaforth Hayes) was forced to lay eyes on her. Will she be staying at the Horton house?
Elsewhere, Javi (Al Calderon) and Leo (Greg Rikaart) flirted, but not before Leo and Joy (AlexAnn Hopkins) made the Craig Wesley (Kevin Spirtas) connection. And in the Body & Soul timeline, Johnny (Carson Boatman) directed Chanel (Raven Bowens) and Alex’s (Robert Scott Wilson) love scene without any major drama. Let us know your thoughts in the comments.
