Days of our Lives solved its problem of a Ben-less Ciara earlier this year by casting Robert Scott Wilson in a new role after Victoria Konefal opted to leave the long-running soap opera. However, Konefal has been spotted at the studio recently. Does this mean Cin is coming back too?
Victoria Konefal Back to DAYS
DAYS announced that Victoria Konefal (Ciara Brady Weston) would be attending the annual (free!) Day of DAYS event on Saturday, November 12, which will be held this year at a new venue, LA Live in downtown Los Angeles. Traditionally, only current cast members attend the meet-and-greet with DAYS actors and the show’s diehard fanbase. Fueling the fire that Konefal is returning is a video that’s popped up on social media showing the actress back at work.
Ciara and…Rafe?
‘Cin’ (the smush name of Ciara and Ben) fan @SaraCiuzio posted on Twitter what apparently is an Instagram story that Konefal posted showing her and co-star Galen Gering in the DAYS makeup room. “Well well well, look who’s been back in the studio this week,” @SaraCiuzio posted. “#Cin #WeLoveCin #Days #CinForever Looks like #BringBackCin #BringCinHome was a success.”
Konefal, a Daytime Emmy nominee for her role as Ciara, was last seen on the DAYS Peacock spinoff, Days of our Lives: Beyond Salem, when a honeymooning Ben (Robert Scott Wilson) and Ciara visited her mom Hope Williams Brady (Kristian Alfonso) overseas. The mini-series ended with Hope sending the happy couple on their way while Hope went after back-from-the-dead Megan Hathaway (Miranda Wilson) unaware that Hope’s “late” true love Bo Brady (Peter Reckell) is back among the living and in Megan’s clutches.
Victoria Konefal Happy DAYS Are Here Again
Does Konefal’s apparent return have to do with that story? Will the show ask Wilson to reprise his role as Ben since he’s already on set as Alex Kiriakis? Soap Hub will bring DAYS fans answers to these questions. Don’t miss our upcoming coverage on Day of DAYS. It’s quite possible the show will be making some big announcements that day!
