On the Friday, February 7 episode of Days of Our Lives, it was time to check in with both of Salem’s captives: Ava and Rafe. EJ brought a tied-up Real Rafe breakfast that included bacon. Meanwhile, a tied-up Ava attempted to talk her way out of captivity. However, the Woman in White wasn’t budging. Then Kristen arrived at Aremid, and now she has a decision to make.

Aremid and Ava Update

Thanks to Kristen (Stacy Haiduk) encouraging Brady (Eric Martsolf) to text Ava (Tamara Braun) about heading to Hong Kong to see Tripp (Lucas Adams) and Wendy (Victoria Grace), the DiMera CEO discovered Ava’s phone in Rachel’s backpack. She’s probably thinking that her daughter is relentless, much like herself.

Instead of taking Rachel (Finley Rose Slater) to therapy, she let Brady do the honors. Meanwhile, she headed over to Aremid on a hunch that paid off. She discovered Ava tied up to that vintage chair.

Somewhat surprisingly, Kristen looked like she would save Ava. However, she stopped at removing the ropes. Subsequently, she pumped Ava for information on how she got there and Rachel’s part in it. When the kidnapping aspect of it all came up, Ava had to admit that Rachel didn’t do it alone.

Ava told her someone calling herself the Woman in White (Roslyn Gentle) helped Rachel. Kristen immediately knew what that meant. And that’s when the WiW entered the room saying, “Kristen, my love. Is that you?” And Kristen could only respond, “Mother?”

Decision Dilemma

And now that Kristen knows her mother is alive, does this mean she will let Ava go? Or will Mother Mayhem take over and continue to leave things in a precarious place for Ava? Is Ava about to be freed or not?

Guess we’ll find out whether Kristen will play the hero or if she will further tap into her dark side and align herself with her suddenly alive mom. The same mom who just teamed up with Rachel to prevent Brady and Ava from being together so Kristen and Brady could.

What complicates things is that Brady and Steve (Stephen Nichols) talked at the hospital. Thanks to Tripp’s dad, Brady knows Ava never visited her son in Hong Kong. His worry about Ava is about to increase exponentially, and who knows, maybe he and Steve will team up to track down Ava. And that search may lead them to Aremid.

So Kristen will have to think fast and decide what type of woman she wants to be in this situation.
